1.Cleaning section of raw cassava roots

This is the first part of fufu powder production. After harvest from the farm, cassava is attached with lots of impurities. Firstly cassava roots will be cleaned by a dry sieve machine, and then go into a paddle washer machine for complete washing. Then sand roller peeling machine is applied to remove the first and the second layers of cassava roots.

2.Processing section of cleaned cassava

This is the second part of fufu powder production. After peeling, cassava roots will be cut into small pieces by a cutting machine. Then small cassava pieces will be crushed into fine mash by a rasper machine. After that, fine cassava mash will be pumped into a stainless steel tank for the fermentation process. The fermentation process will take 12-20 hours, and the fermentation time will depend on the local climate.

3.Drying section to get final fufu powder

This is the last part of fufu powder production. After fermentation, cassava mash will be pumped into a filter press machine for dehydration, from which we can get wet powder with a moisture content of around 45%. Then, the wet powder will be sent to a flash dryer machine for the last stage of drying and finally, we can get dried fufu powder with moisture around 12-14%. To get fine-quality fufu powder, a fine milling machine will be installed after drying, which is used to crush dried fufu and get fine particle powder. And sieving machine will be used afterward to sieve coarse fibers.
